A dimmer is one of those small things in a house you touch every single day. Most plastic versions click and skip and disappear into the wall by design. This one does the opposite. The knurled brass knob has weight in your hand, the rotation moves smoothly from full bright to almost off, and the surface develops a patina over time that tracks how the room is actually used. Mount one in an entryway, kitchen, dining room, or living room and the switch reads as part of the architecture rather than as electrical hardware.
The dimmer is milled from solid brass and finished by hand. The mechanism is rated for over 100,000 rotations. It runs at 120VAC with triac (leading edge) dimming and handles up to 150W LED or 250W incandescent. UL listing covers the US and Canada. The fixture fits a standard US 1-gang electrical box for a quick swap by a licensed electrician.
