Sofie Wall Sconce, White Glass Shade, Natural Wood Plate

Your bedside or living room wall may call for a light that keeps a quiet, simple look. This wall sconce pairs a rectangular white glass shade with a natural wood plate and ledge, a minimal shape that draws on Japanese interiors, and the glass softens the bulb into a diffused, warm glow across your wall.

It measures 9.8 inches (25 cm) tall, 4.7 inches (12 cm) wide and 3.9 inches (10 cm) deep, slim enough for the wall beside a bed or a spot on a living room wall, and it leaves the nightstand below free for your things. The glass stands on the wood ledge with the wood plate behind it, so the wood frames the shade on two sides. It is hardwired to a wall box with no cord or plug, so a licensed electrician connects it. It takes one E27 bulb, LED, incandescent or fluorescent, so you choose how bright and how warm your light is.
