Pia Pendant Light, Washi Paper Globe, 12 Inch, White

A bare bulb over your bed or dining table casts a hard light; a paper shade spreads the same light softly. The Pia is a handmade washi paper globe that diffuses light softly all around it, so your bedroom, dining area or reading corner gets an even glow instead of a bright spot.

The globe is 12 inches (30.5 cm) across, made of thin washi paper held round by a lightweight steel wire frame, in white. You can set the hanging height anywhere up to 59 inches (150 cm), so it works low over a table or higher beside a bed. The light source gives three light colors, so you can choose a warmer or cooler tone for the room. It is rated to light 54 to 108 sq ft (5 to 10 m²), which suits a bedroom, a study or a small dining area. It is hardwired to a ceiling box, so have a licensed electrician connect it. Hang one on its own, or group several at different heights over your table.
