Hilde Ceramic Ashtray with Lid, Hammered Glaze, Wood Knob

The Hilde ceramic ashtray has a lid with a round wood knob, so you can close it when you are done and keep the ash out of view. With the lid on, it reads as a small covered dish on your side table, desk or shelf.

It measures 4.8 inches (12.3 cm) across and 2.6 inches (6.6 cm) tall, with three rests cut into the rim. The outside carries a hammered, dimpled glaze, and each piece is handmade, so no two glazes come out exactly alike and yours will vary a little from the photos. Choose green, teal, natural, copper or white. It is made of ceramic with a wood knob and a small metal fitting under the knob. Handle it with care to keep the glaze and wood finish in good condition. The glaze and lid let it sit among your other ceramics and books, so you can leave it out on a table in your living room and lift the lid off by its knob when you need it.
