Askim Solar Lantern Planter, Outdoor, Dusk to Dawn

A garden path or a patio goes dark at night, and running a cable from the house to light it is a job. The Askim solar lantern planter needs no cable: a solar panel charges it in the sun, and a dusk sensor turns on up to 10 hours of warm white light by itself once it gets dark.

It is rated IP65 for outdoor use, so it can stay out in the rain. It is made of PP, ABS and metal hardware, with a metal lamp frame and posts for a steady stance. The whole piece measures 7" Width x 7" Depth x 27.5" Height (18.5 x 18.5 x 70 cm), a little below the height of a dining table. The square planter base, 7" Width x 7" Depth x 6" Height (18.5 x 18.5 x 16 cm), takes your own flowers or greenery, so the light becomes part of the planting. With no cable tying it to the house, you can move it along a path, onto a patio or to a balcony whenever the layout changes.
